BRIEF DETAILS:
On February 21st, 2023, at approximately 4:32 p.m., the University of Maryland Police Department responded to a call from one of its auxiliary police, claiming he had been mugged. Officer Victor Piranha was on his hourly patrol when three students reportedly approached him and demanded money. Realizing he had forgotten how to use his taser gun or pepper spray, he gave the students all the cash and equipment in his car while begging for his life. The assailants then left, leaving Officer Piranha sobbing in the trunk.
The suspects are described as three men wearing identical pink rabbit suits.
The University of Maryland Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating the possibility of eventually considering maybe exploring a way to begin to investigate this incident.
